Aloe Vera Gel for Skin and hair: Aloe Vera: Aloe vera gel is a product that is very famous nowadays in the field of cosmetics, everyone now opts for natural organic products rather than using a chemical-based. Aloe vera is one such plant that is packed with many qualities. Not only it’s beneficial for the skin but consumption of Aloe vera either in form of Juice, gel, or in any other form is helpful for the digestive system.

The name “Aloe Vera” is derived from an Arabic word “Alloeh”- meaning- “The Shining Bitter Substance” whereas “Vera” in Latin means “True” & it’s popularly known as “The plant of immortality”- meaning-  The Plant which Lives Forever. Other synonyms of Aloe vera are- Burn plant & The Lily of Desert.

Aloe vera is a xerophytic, succulent plant that stores water in its leaves, it contains an abundant amount of water & contains more than 70 active components including Minerals, Vitamins, Sugars, Saponins, Enzymes, Lignin, Salicylic acid & Amino acid. There are more than 300 species of Aloe vera which is widely used in soaps, juices, face creams, face & hair gels, in moisturizers.

Basically, Aloe vera leaves contain a clear gel & produce a substance- Aloe latex, which is a yellow pulp found on the outer surface of the plant. It possesses medicinal properties & acts as a laxative. It has a bitter taste which enhances its qualities.
